Holland Beach is the first development of its kind on Utila. The beach itself is a true Caribbean dream-soft white sand, coconut trees, and turquoise blue waters. However, there is more to this project than a fantastic beach. This will be a very special eco-friendly community with Utila's first sheltered marina, where residents will be able to leave their boats in the knowledge that they will be safe and secure year round, whatever the weather.

The development lies a short boat ride from Utila town on the West side of Utila island. There are no roads to this beach at this time. Access is by boat, which means guaranteed privacy and security.

The concept behind this project is first and foremost one of blending in with the environment. The beach is so special that our number one priority is to preserve its beauty. All residents will be asked to join the Holland Beach Residents Association and each property will be tied to covenants with strict environmental rules and regulations. For example, all construction will be approved by an environmental committee made up of residents. Homes will be set back from the beach to preserve the natural tree line, rain water collection systems will be mandatory for each house and composting toilet systems will be required to prevent pollution.
